Fresh Salad

I decided it was time to take the lettus out of the garden and make a fresh salad for our dinner. It was very tasty and I can't wait until winter when I can plant more.

The lettus took up two squares in my garden, so I decided to plant marigolds in one square and brussels sprouts in the other. However, when I got home I learned that brussels sprouts are a winter vegetable. That's ok, I'm just going to see what happens. I may get fruit and I may not. Either way, I'll try planting them in my winter garden along with the lettus.
